Cruel Memory will be featured on the Up and Coming Alternative/Metal Promo CD thanks to swrecords.net and will be distribuited to 40 indie/college radio stations in the USA, 5 in Canada and 5 in England. The CD will feature a special radio edit of DIY, the first single off of our new album Life & Death. The same track will be avaliable here later for download and on Music.Download.com when it launches in a few weeks.
It has also been brought to my attention that material from our first full length album (The Unknown) has been aired on the Castleton College Radio station. If this rumor is true, we would like to thank everyone that has suported us at Castleton and will be sure to have a show in the area in the future. Most likely we will be playing at The Buttery on the Green MTN. Col. campus in the fall. It’s not that far away so drop by and watch us LIVE!
Live news: Well, it looks like nobody cares if Cruel Memory comes back to teen night or not. No e-mails, nobody talking about it. Nothing. We will still be playing acoustic live shows there the first Thursday of each month. Check out the tour section for more live show dates.
We’re talking to the band The Few about getting shows setup in Manchester and the band Alive about playing shows this summer. We haven’t got anything set in stone yet but hopefully we’ll be able to get some great shows out this year. Stay posted for more information. Until then, there’s always the once-a-month shows at The Chester Music Shoppe. Played a great show again at Chester. Check the letter section for more on that. We’re working on getting a show at The Bomb Shelter setup and posiabally playing at the Battle of the Bands setup by The River Valley Credit Union. We’ll keep you posted on that.
UPDATE: Not playing the battle of the bands. Decided not to. We’re holding off on most of the touring until we finish our new album.
Studio news:We’re still working on our new album Life & Death. We’re on track Ten. I don’t know when it’ll be done. Hopefully sometime in May (just don’t get your hopes up yet thought)
